The following organizations can help you apply for assistance including emergency financial assistance, health insurance, medication, food, group/individual counseling, primary doctor care, dental treatment and affordable/free housing.  If you need any of these services, please contact one or more of these wonderful organizations and set up a meeting with an intake coordinator. Get the help you need.

Resources

Housing Works files all your paperwork and gets you started with medication financial assistance, counseling, food and housing.

Gay Men’s Health Crisis can assist you to apply for help regarding medication, financial assistance, counseling, food, housing and insurance.

The HIV/AIDS Services Administration’s (HASA) mission is to expedite access to essential benefits and social services needed by persons living with AIDS or clinical symptomatic HIV illness and their families.

Callen-Lorde can assist you in applying for financial assistance, primary doctor care, dentist care, counseling and much more regardless of insurance or ability to pay.

Entertainment Community Fund

We provide human services nationally for people who work in film, theater, television, music, opera, radio and dance. We’re here for everyone on stage, camera and behind the scenes to support a life in the arts.

The NYC Sexual Health Clinics continue to provide low- to no-cost services for sexually transmitted infections (STIs), including HIV.

SAGE

SAGE is the world’s largest and oldest organization dedicated to improving the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning (LGBTQ+) older people. Our mission is to lead in addressing issues related to LGBTQ+ aging.

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS 

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS is the philanthropic heart of Broadway, helping people across the country and across the street receive lifesaving medications, health care, nutritious meals, counseling and emergency financial assistance.
